When you are getting started, which are the first accessories you bought?

Depends on what you plan on shooting really. What are you interested in making images of? Is it landscapes, wildlife, macros, or people?

Agreed. What you are shooting and in what environment makes a big difference for this question.

If your just want to explore photography and you don't know 100% where you want to end up. Are there any 'general' photography dslr accessories that you would buy?

Nope nope really then. When I first started all I had was a 120 film camera, and a notebook to take notes on my shots, that way when I got the film developed I saw where I screwed up. But until then it was me the camera, and extra rolls of film. So figure out what you really end up shooting most, and then you can find out what you need to improve it, or actually to help you improve your images.
