Lightroom training good for 8 year old
Seriously. Unless you have a savant, LR is a bit much for most pre-teens. Maybe some basic private lessons.
Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

Kids that old go to robotics camp now. I don't think LR will be too much of a challenge.
I was going to say the same. Just let 'em loose in front of it 
Also. I would teach them the same way I have taught others with PS. I set them in front of it, and then show them what the tools, and adjustments do. I merely point to the tools to do the job they want, and let them play with it. That way they learn how the basics work. Then when they get that down, I show them other things they can do to do finer adjustments, by isolating things in images.Francis wrote:
