This type of "landscape" is essentially abstract, which usually comes with lots of experimentation. Good thing digital "film" is free!

Thanks for all of your tips, I'll definitely have to get out soon and experiment some more with that photo. Hopefully the farmer doesn't mow down his field any time soon *whistles like I'm not involved* and next weekend I'll get out and give it a go with some of your tips!
