Being a firefighter, this is one of my favorite themes when I get free time to do pictures

The first two are quite well done, although some separation in the post would be beneficial. Just sayin'

I'm not feeling the others, though. And I for one am bothered by the firefighter standing there in the last one while stuff is on fire. I'm sure it's all fine, it's just how it appears.

Nice photo's. I used to go out on range fire's in this are to help fight them. Had one here a number of years back that burned up 98,000 acre's. Problem here is access. Can't get into a lot of them so they simply try to control where the fire got's. That last photo look's like a control burn? Several years ago was helping on one ranch and watched a fire race up a hill, you would not believe how fast they can go up! Nothing could have out run that one!

Awesome shots! It is amazing that there is so much beauty in something so destructive!

The last shot is a little confusing for me. His smile seems out of place with the raging fire in the background.

Love #1 also!

The last one is actually me lol. I set the camera on the cab of the truck while we waited for water (we were in the middle on nowhere on the mexico border with only a 6 man crew)
