After a basic edit of the JPG with LR5.  No masking, no gradients, no brushes -

Hey Glider, just curious about if you live in N.S or in the atlantic region. I myself am from atlantic Canada. Great shot, I'm interested to see what is possible when you have Lightroom and Photoshop :) Nice shot :)

Hey Taken,
I was born and partially raised in N.B. we now live in Alberta.
I love going back as often as we can but there is so much of the world to see.
Glad you liked my shot, I cant wait to learn more and get working with LR and maybe someday PS.

I'm gonna add you as a friend :-)

I don't have any plug-ins.  Which one was that?

I used Topaz Adjust a couple of ways, after LR. Odd that LR brought out purples and pinks for me. But I like it. I think it reinforces a sunset idea, along with the warm light on the building and rocks.

I also straightened the lighthouse out, and tried to remove some curvature.

You have some strong artifacting in the rocks going.

Um... yes? It was a low-res JPG to start with. I wasn't trying for perfection, I was trying for illustration.

I should go to the hospital and get treated, because I got burned. :kmonst:
