I love shooting this lighthouse. So many angles and at all times during the year, even a sleet storm on April 1st. The next day was sunny with snow accumulated snow to brighten the scene.
I like your use of ND. Wish you had a bit rougher sea and some clouds to scut across the shy. Very nice.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

Not a bad shot, but if I may nitpick:
I find the composition very heavy to the left.
The horison too centred.
The light feels very 'middle of the day'.
The image needs some drama, like a rough sea or clouds...

Remember that millions of images are taken daily.
To stand out one must find the extraordinary.

Hassner...I understand and agree somewhat as to what you're saying. Seeing as I have now lived close to the Headlight for a few months, I have been going there frequently in different conditions to try and get the shot in many conditions. This last one you commented on was an attempt to use an ND filter to soften the sea. Unfortunately it was a very calm day. Here are a few others I have taken in the past year...The 1st was taken in -33 weather....Thanks for your input..
