Thanks.... I used a mid 1980's Lester Dine 105mm F2.8 MF macro lens on a Nikon D300 along with the matching Lester Dine ring/point light. I shoot mostly in manual mode at ISO 200, SS 1/250th & F16 (aperture subject to change, these were at F11 )...The ring light is usually set to 1/4 power (another item subject to change) ... The Lester Dine ring light was made for the Dine Corp (purveyors to the Dental profession) by SunPack & the lens was made for them by Kino Precision (aka Kiron & also sold under the Kiron name as well as Vivitar Series One brand)
