This is true. I thought I had fairly steady hands with the D700, my D800 reaffirmed the importance to me of tripod use!.....

Weight the center column of your tripod down. Mirror slap can create shake at this res.
When the last candle has been blown out
and the last glass of champagne has been drunk
All that you are left with are the memories and the images-David Cooke.
