Sencor fungus

I have got a Nikon D5100. 5 months back i bought it. Now having a black spot it every photos. I took it to service center they said the sensor got fungus. How do i clean it and will it damage my
camera.. Please help!!!"

Try a regular wet sensor cleaning, or send it to Nikon service if you lack confidence. It might take a couple of passes. Good luck!

If you have not messed with sensor cleaning before, I would have a Nikon pro do it for you.  Many retailers will do it for you, if you bring your camera into their shop.

You could damage it, like cleaning it with a hammer and chisel. This link offers much safer (and better) solutions......

Also I doubt that it is fungus. It is just stuck on dust blobs. That link Ernesto left should help you out on how to clean. I personally use my Eclipse swabs, and Alcohol, not liquor of course.

:agree: most likely not fungus, just dirt or dust
