Lens recommendation for D5000

Looking for lens recommendations. I have a D5000 with the kits lenses and want to upgrade. I'm interested in two different types, one for
landscape/wildlife and the other a macro for flowers.

Landscape and wildlife will be two totally lenses. The Nikon Micro 105 f/2.8 VR is a beauty.....;)

Why so serious?

So I should be considering three different lenses? Which lens would you recommend for landscape and which for wildlife?

Usually, one uses a long focal length for wildlife, as it can be difficult to get close. Unfortunately that can mean more than 300mm, which isn't cheap. The Tamron 150-600 has fans here.

For landscape you will likely want a shorter lens, for a wider field of view. Ideally the 16-24 mm range, I think. But that's a spendy range.

You can consider an 18-200 as a modest solution for the time being. Baby steps.

As for macro, you might consider a Nikon 60mm or a Tamron 90mm as sufficient. But you want a "macro" lens that has a very near minimum focusing distance. The Nikon 105 can get down to 16". There are other Nikon products to consider.

If you can get the 18-105mm as a kit then do go for it. You'll have almost 6X zoom capability as opposed to only 3X with the 18-55mm lens. Either lens will work for photographing flowers but you'll eventually want a longer zoom for animals.
