Short answer: no.

Long answer: pretty much no other lens can be used on a Nikon, unless it's been designed for the F mount.

Do a web search if you want the details on why, but it's a physical and mechanical problem.

And in case anyone asks, "full frame" is irrelevant.  "D700" is irrelevant. The issue is the lens mount and the body design.

Well Gary is mostly correct. Abstract thinking proves otherwise. Find a reversing ring for Nikon in the thread size of that Zeiss lens and mount it backwards. It will not AF or meter, but will work fine in manual, and produce good macro photographs.....:P

Why so serious?

Hello,

The answer: no!

So, you have a Zeiss Otus for Sony mount and you want to use on a Nikon ?
My advice: buy a Sony SH.

Of course, you could find how to adapt.

Not really worth the time & trouble... As others have said, get a lens with the Nikon mount...

No eBay APP ID défined in Kunena configurationThere are adapters that will allow you to mount the lens to a Nikon DSLR. That said, the "glassless" ones will not allow for infinity focus  & the ones with a corrective lens will but at a loss of IQ & a slight change in the focal length. the reason they need a lens in the adapter to get infinity focus is due to registration length differences.... Un less you have an upper end DSLR body, you won't get metering & if you do, it will likely be the old "stop down" method ... I use my older "orphaned" lens mounts on a mirrorless Olympus M43's camera as it's much easier to adapt these lenses to the shorter registration distance. No glass element needed... Here is a link to eBay listings for adapters to adapt the lens to Nikon...
