I have a used SMCC Pentx-M 1:2 50mm lens. Does anyone know what they are going for used?

I have bought and sold a few of them in the last year. I would say between $20-$45 dollars (US). Pentax users prefer the 50mm 1.7 or the even more desirable 50mm 1.4. Hope this helps.

Will this lens fit a canon t3 with the use of a mount? if so, do you know which one?

Yeah....I guess that you might find one from fotodix or a company like that but I would advise against it.

1. No metering on your canon body.

2. You would probably lose your infinity focus. (This is a really big deal unless it is a macro lens)

3. By the time that you bought the adapter and paid for shipping only to find out how bad this lens is, you would have spent nearly half the cost of a new Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens that would meter and autofocus with your body.

Just sayin' save a few dollars more and look for a canon 50mm, you won't ever regret it.

It is what it is.

The lens is Pentax K mount. so you need a K-mount to EOS adapter. I would agree with McBeth; I'd be inclined to go with the Canon EOS 50mm f/1.8 as it's cheap and excellent quality, and designed to operate on your camera.
