So this was something new for me; any suggestions for improvement?

Looks like a fun project.  I would like to see either a bigger gap in the clouds where the figure is, or some fill for the figure.  She blends in with the clouds too much.

I would like to see the silhouette to the feet.

And something in the hand to give it meaning. A sword, a sword lily, a lantern...

To kill two birds with one stone on the suggestions

Give her a lantern to use as fill for her face to bring her out of the clouds a bit.

Good exposure though, the clouds seem slightly on the dark side for me.

Okay, thanks. I'll color this one unsuccessful. I would not consider fill flash for a silhouette, nor would I put any additional object in the hand that is already holding a mobile phone. Hence the title for the image.

I agree about the feet, and the alignment with the clouds is a good tip. I'll remember that.

As for the exposure this was well past sunset and there wasn't much light left at all. Not sure what can be done about that.

So, yeah, apparently this didn't work for anyone else but me.

I like the lantern idea
