I like it, I think the eyes are well lit, even lighting around the face, good expression, good posing. The only thing I'd like to have tried differently is the backdrop. Since I've learned about colour toning, blue helps to bring out the skin etc. i'd have tried a dark teal kind of colour, that is a subtle blue but not black if you know what I mean. Overall, I'd be really happy with the end product :) well done!

I'm terrible at posing, will leave that commentary to others.  The main light (camera left) is good.  I would experiment some with the fill light.  Such as placing it higher, and/or trying a much bigger modifier.  Even bouncing it off a wall.

Very well done indeed. I would consider a tighter crop at the bottom. The arm seems to just hang there. One edit I would make is to eliminate the double catch light in the eyes. One is good, the second one screams "I used two light sources without a diffuser." which is a tad unnatural.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

Absolutely adorable . . . I might consider going tighter on your crop so the bottom crop doesn't occur right on the elbow.

I would crop it a little higher up but otherwise excellent. No lighting adjustments needed. Beautiful shot.
