Wirelessly transfer photos from camera to iPad?

From what I have been told the Eye0Fi cards are slow and not reliable, are there any other options for wirelessly transferring photos from camera too iPad?

Buy a camera (like the 70D) that has wifi built-in ;)   I think more and more cameras will include this. The transfer stil might not be fast enough for you.

Do you know if that built in wifi is faster than the cards mentioned above?

Any sort of wireless transfer will be so much slower than wire connection.
