Anyone here move 100% to mirrorless?

Which did you settle on?  I lent my D7000 to a friend, who had an 'accident' with the camera and has offered to buy me a new camera.  Rather than getting a D7000 or the newer D7100, I'm thinking about just moving to a mirrorless full frame like the Sony A7.

If you moved to 100% mirrorless, did you miss the mirror?

My friend owns the T1 and I own the A7.  I really do like the T1 and fuji lenses are light and are great quality.

I'm not going to sell my A7, but I really like the T1, especially the viewfinder.

That said.  They're still not quite up with DSLRs as far as being all in one machines.  The AF isn't really good enough yet and (IMHO) the video side of things is not quite as good (my Sony isn't very good for video compared to Canon... because honestly I don't like Sony colours for video and the Fuji video... well... it plain sucks).

Long story short.  I love mirrorless for what it does, but it's not ready to replace DSLR right now.

I admire the technology, but not ready to jump off that bridge yet.

I'll wait till autofocus becomes quicker, then it would be easy decision.

I looked at the mirrorless cameras and just said no. I could see a difference looking through the EVF crap. I will stay with mirrors thank you.
Oh! ANd please share what kind of accident did your friend have that killed it? If you do not mind sharing.

Oh no, what happened to your camera?  Hearing stuff like this is why I don't lend out my camera to no one.

The camera was left on the back tail lid of his car when he took off and when he accelerated forward, the camera fell off the camera on the pavement.  The camera body and lens was scratched up pretty good, but still worked.  I appreciated his honesty.

Have you seen the EVF of the X-T1? It's amazing.  The Sony A7(r/s) EVFs are pretty nice too.
