How to photograph beer

Can someone tell me how this shot was taken.  Could this be accomplished with a single flash?

Thank you

This one yes one light. There is obviously one light to the left from slightly behind the table to wash out the white back drop. But then you have on the glass elements light reflection from either a reflector, or a lesser light source. The grain and part of the barrel give this away. Especially the grain which is over blown, but the shadows are to the front.
Personally I would have put the light under the table to the right of the barrel
so that the visible part of the barrel remained dark, and had a reflector above the scene. You could have got the shot without light reflecting on the glass that way, and given the table scene a nice tone over all. You could always add more reflectors as well if you wanted to. Catching reflected light with another reflector can make some really nice shots. Just experiment with it sometime. Its the fun way to learn. :P

I would guess that there's a light to the right of the camera, given how much light is landing behind the tap and wood. And some light coming from back upper left, based on the barrel rims. I think it's interesting that there's no refraction through the stein handle; I might guess the background has been falsified. And I think there's some source back-top-middle, based on the shadows of the glasses.

IMO, one light? No. At least, not unless you're a wizard with light.

Wouldn't that be a white scrim with a light behind it and a flash off the left?  And I'm guessing a snoot with focused light behind the tap?

Nope, did't get to try yesterday.  All my AA batteries were dead and my charger was no where to be found.  Oh and I got stuck watching soccer game!
