Could smart lenses contribute to the death of DSLR's?

So I'm looking at some of these smart lenses like the Sony QX100 and QX10 and if I'm understanding some of the stuff I have been reading where the sensor in the lens is more important than the sensor in the body.  Then would this be the technology that could knock the DSLR over?

It is a gadget that looks like fun and will attract members of the opposite sex according to the promotional video (and I urge you to trust everything you see in Sony promotional videos). Turn up at a wedding with one and just sit back and watch those referrals come pouring in (referrals to the exit door I mean :) ).

A big funny!  Good idea, but I can only see a dedicated college student using something like this.

I really doubt this

An opposite sex magnet. Wow.

No. So far away from the sometimes maddening DSLR crowd. It is only a lens. Too limited use.

Not going to happen.  It's cool and I'm sure it works, but not very practical for a DSLR killer.
