if you are just playing around, if this is the right one for your camera. Then if you want more reach and really really want to go macro, there is the 105mm for more reach to attach to your extension tube. I have lots of friends who does macro and I keep making funny remarks about them but they are really deep into it. I am not. I only went as far as extension tubes. I try not to succumb to the GAS Syndrome.
