Pro-sumer and enthusiast the same?

Would you consider these two titles for the same type of person?

More or less.  The pro-sumer may be more of a gearhead, while the enthusiast may be more interested in aesthetics, but that is certainly not a hard rule.  In fact, I just made it up

i dont even consider them at all. it is the person behind the camera that matters not the equipment used.

 :agree:
Yeah it is just a matter of degrees equipment wise. Your standard enthusiast might just be satisfied with any level of gear, and the prosumer type likes having the bigger guns. I use the upper end bodies so I can abuse them. That and I like their larger size in my hands.

Pro-sumer is a person with too much money.

Enthusiast is a person who wishes he had more money.
