Can't decide between the two, which do you have and recommend?

What are you talking about? The Expodisc only filters the light to tell the camera what to set the White Balance, or temperature to.

On their page they have both portrait and neutral versions of their filters  www.expoimaging.com/product-overview.php?cat_id=1

Don't have one, so can't comment.

Ah! When I bought mine there was only one model. But apparently both of those have been replaced by the new 2.0. So I am willing to bet that they are like mine, and only do the 18% gray measurement.

Um, you might want to actually read their page. The older models have been discontinued and they only offer one version.

I would say your question was moot, but I'll offer an opinion based on flexibility: neutral, neutral, neutral.

Since these adjustments can be made so easily from RAW in post process, I would think that Expodisc would be really hurting as a business.

An expodisc is useful to get a custom white balance reading when shooting; no argument there. And getting a custom reading is useful, but I prefer a WhiBal card. Easier to manage and fits with post-processing methods. Take a shot of the card and worry about adjustments later. Expodiscs just take too much effort, in my book. At least, with my camera.

YMMV.
