Which of these is the better 10 stop filter to use with Nikon D7100?

I have a Lee filter, it works great for me.  It does cast a slight blue hue on longer exposures.  I don't have a B+W, but have heard these will give you a more warmer tone.

The trade off with the B+W is you need to screw it on and off each time you frame up a shot vs the Lee you slide in and out of it's sleeve.

I would suggest you order and await the Lee Big Stopper. So much easier to use, and you'll someday own the holder system anyway, for use with Lee or Singh Ray, etc.....
Lee and B&W are both quality products, though....;)

Edit. All ND filters will have a color cast. Its easily handled in post.

Why so serious?

Hey thanks guys, I'm even further on the fence.  I have read many of the reviews for both brands and a couple others and there is good and not so good on all.

I see a blind coin toss in my future

I've used both and there are pro's and con's to each.

1.  Lee big stopper

Pro: Easier to frame up your shot with out having to screw on and off the filter.
Con: You'll get a blue color cast to your shot

2.  B+W

Pro: Warmer more realistic colors out of camera
Con: You need to screw it on and off your lens each time to frame up your shot.

Now as Effron mentioned, you can clean up colors easily in post.  So if you picking one of these two, go for the Lee.

Cast another for Lee here as well. I do not use screw on filters when stopping down a lot, it is too much of a pain. If only they used a pinch type of release for the really dark NDs.

I have both, but I use the Lee filter the most.

The only problem with Lee is that they never manufacture enough for demand.  Expect a wait with them.
