Calumet Photo is opening again?

I had a photography friend tell me that Calumet is opening back up?  I have done some searches and didn't find anything about this.  Does anyone know if this is a fact?

I haven't heard anything, possible if someone bought their assets.

Yep, it's a fact.  C&A Marketing bought em.  See here:

The whole part in that link about people still holding on to rentals cracked me up. And I am wondering if they are going to attempt to contact the renters, and I am also curious if any of the records of rentals got lost in the mess.
All I can say is somebody got a great deal on that business, or better have.

Weren't their prices high, and that was the demise of their run?

Well good for them.  I just think that will be a tough road for them to pave again.  Companies seem to not be the same after something like this.  Part of who they are, what made them special is gone.

Nikon 18-55mm VR, Nikon 70-200mm VRII f/2.8, Nikon 50mm f/1.8, Nikon 10.5mm Fisheye, Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8, SB-700 & SB-800

Well that's a surprise!  I think this is a tough market, retailers are fighting with Amazon, B&H and Adorama.  Those are some 900lb gorillas I wouldn't want to trifle with.  But then again if they go into the rental side, then you have some large, competition there too!
