Drones can be annoying

It's not just human authorities who have problems with camera drones invading their airspace.

According to the original photographer...

"On Oct 8th, I was flying my quadcopter at Magazine Beach Park in Cambridge, when a hawk decided he wasn't too happy with my invasion of his airspace...

As far as I could tell, the juvenile red-tailed hawk came out unscathed, and having defeated his prey, was happy to retreat. (As soon as he flew at me, I throttled down the props to try to minimize any harm to the bird.) The quadcopter came out unscathed as well. Funds generated through YouTube ads will be donated to the Massachusetts Audubon Society.

I wonder how the hawks feet are?  Was the attack territorial?  I don't much about these birds.

Now that was a rarity!  These birds are usually skiddish around man-made objects.  Aren't they?  I don't know enough about them, but thought that.

My neighbor just bought one of these and first day crashed it into a large tree.  It's still stuck up in it!  :pinch:

It's not the drones that are annoying, it's the photographers flying them :silly:
