What you don't like the whole lemming aspect of seeing a place? Also I am Irish on my mothers side of the equation. Had a great uncle who would slip into Gaelic when he had a few too many. I am a typical statesman though being Heinze 57 on the fathers.
Congrats on the trip Nikon. I wish I could go and see what is left of my family there. It is going to be cold, and damp so plan accordingly.

OP - Ireland is a beautiful country and the people there are incredibly nice and very proud of their country. I suggest when you get there to get off the touristy trails and explore the country side.
