Any former or existing Pentax users around?

I met a Pentax user yesterday and it was such a cute camera, but kind of bulky.   Turkey is in the oven, so just making small chit chat this morning

Neighbor has one, not 100% sure of the model.  He's had it for a number of years.

I shot with an MX film body until I went digital. Those were not at all bulky, and they were all manual. The only reason for having the battery was for the light meter.

Pentax 6x7.
Ten images per 120 film.
Still have it. Beautiful lenses. Heard I can get a converter to make it fit on my Canon. Must try that.

I use a Pentax K30 and previously had a Samsung GX10 (same as the Pentax K10).    Love the K30 but miss having the LCD screen on the top of the camera.   Plenty of good pentax glass about.

I have always wondered why Pentax get's pretty much ignored on on photo site's. I have one, only one I've ever had. 645 NII. I notice they don't seem to have as extensive a line of lens as Nikon and Canon. But year after year they keep on going, have to be doing something right. I doubt a good photographer could take the same photo with a Nikon, Canon and Pentax; show only the prints on the same paper from the same printer, and another good photographer could tell the difference. if I were just getting into this, I'm sure I'd get a Nikon or Canon for no other reason than every body push's them.

I'm not sure of the model, but my brother just got a white Pentax earlier this summer.  He seems to like the camera.
