Leather cases that go on and off camera quickly

9 years 4 months ago #413864 by Carlos
All the leather cases I've seen are somewhat bulky.  Are there any that you know of, that are easier to get on and off?

I know of none for digital cams. Too many LCDs and card doors, etc.....

Why so serious?

Sounds like you might be looking for something like an 'everready' case. I have those for my film cameras and for my digital Ricoh.

I didn't know offhand if any manufacturers were making them for other brands but did a quick search and it looks like there are some for Leica and Fujifilm; some neoprene, soft cases by OpTech, and some skins by Delkin - I didn't check to see what cameras they fit. If you search everready cases you might find something that would be a possibility.

The only ones I've seen are kind of bulky, I'd pass on one of these

They were called "neverready" cases for good reason.  ;)

I can't imagine wanting a case for any reason other than a fashion statement.

But that's just me.

Never really cared for these.  They make the camera to bulky IMO

The problem I think with cases like these, is that they allow grim to get trapped and then it marks up your camera anyway.

I was given one for Christmas last year and honestly, I kept it on for a week and took it off.  I just didn't like how much bigger it made the camera feel in my hands.
