Finding models who are ok with doing nude photo shoots?

Morning gang,

Where are you finding models that are good with nude photo shoots?  I don't know how many times in either in a meeting or interview over the phone, when I ask if they do nudes.  They look or sound as if, how dare I ask this.  

Can you recommend where I can find pre-screened models for this?

I would check with art school such as The Art Institute of Seattle .  If they are nice they may be wiling to share their source.  Also some of the art classes from the colleges will have art students that model for extra money to supplement their education.  When my daughter went to art school they had to draw nudes and some of the kids that were their were taking some of her other classes.

I don't think just because someone is a model you can assume the person would be willing to do a nude session. Seems like you need to make it clear up front what you're looking for.

I was thinking too that schools that teach art and offer figure drawing classes would use models, but I don't think they'd be able to release models' particularly students' information. You could ask if they would let you post/share your information requesting models. Of course it's a different situation modeling in a supervised setting like art school and doing a private session with an unknown photographer so I don't know what kind of response you might get. 

If you aren't already, you might consider being involved in your local art community, that could lead to making some contacts.
