Giving out gift cards to prior photography clients for referrals or future business?

9 years 2 months ago #424302 by Tony Imaging
What about giving out 'just because' gift cards out to past clients personalized with one of their images you took?  I was just thinking about that and think that would be a really nice way to stir up new business.  Perhaps with a message "Thinking about you and your family".  And offer like a print or portrait session.  What do you think?

These days it's all about figuring out how to keep clients from going to our competitors.

No experience, but I would try it out with a small group of your past clients and see how they respond.  If good, and sales are created, then perfect the process and pass to rest of your clients.

Defiantly a good strategy. I would make some scarcity like..."I have only 2 shoot free this month, do you know anyone who would like to get into these limited slots"

I would try it out and just see how it works for new business.  If it works, then make it a regular part of your business.
