Scratched ExpoDisc throw off white balance setting?

The sensor is gong to receive the light (data) from the entire Disc and a scratch would constitute such a small area with the aperture open. I have heard that the white lid from A Duncan Donuts coffee cup has almost exactly an 18% grey color.
