Just to basically converse.

Ah, short work day. I'm off for 3 days.

I'm reading nikon rumors and they're thinking the d4 will be around 7000-8000 USD.

Usually new ones are better and cheaper. Or at least very close to the replacement model in price.

Wonder what new "feature" it will have?

I'll probably not get D4 anyway. D3s will do and Sony have announced the NEX-VG200 for my video needs. For a backup/second cam, either the D700 or D7000 for now

Yeah but inflation is crazy, and the yen is going up.

Probably 3d video though.

I thought maybe 1080 video. To compete with the 5D as the "goto" movie DSLR.

3D would be a leap.

Haha I was joking. Yeah 1080p probably. I could honestly see them keeping the MP lower like...14-16 max and working on a extremely clean 25,600 clean ISO.

Won't you be surprised when it does have 3D!

But wouldn't that make it a Canon model? Nikon's start with D.

I give it a year before both manufactures have 3d in at least their prosumer models.

You can do it now with two camera bodies and duct tape.

I'm interested to see how much the price drops on the d3x in the next year.
