Induro vs Feisol

10 years 1 month ago #358117 by Owen
Any of you have either of these tripod brands?  I was just on Adorama and looking around and found a few tripods that I like, but these two brands I have not heard of before.  I know Manfrotto, RRS and Gitzo, but not these.   Especially when comparing to Gitzo and RRS, these tripods.  Help please

Both are good brands. Induro have some very interesting tripod heads too.

I'd put them at about Manfrotto in quality, not as good as RRS and Gitzo.

I have monopods of each brand, and the Feisol is clearly a better build. The Induro is serviceable. I just bought a Feisol ball head, which is quite good.

The induro 5 way head is nice though John. I'm not sure what you got, but not all Induro is worse than Feisol.

Now that is a knob turners dream there. I do like that it has a level for its base to tripod as well. Mine on my legs met with tragedy, and is no longer there.

They're very good if you want precise adjustments.  Shooting buildings with a TS is an example I can think of.  Not that i need one right now. ;)
