Beautiful Printing Options for Your Favorite Photos

By the time a photographer starts really enjoying their craft and learns how to make beautiful images that they and others like to view, they start wondering about how to display their art in the home or office. Printing options range from printing ourselves to using the big box discount stores, to fine art printing from studios.
Our Printing Options

I enjoy printing my own digital image files but my at home printing is limited to the size of my printer and the materials I’m able to obtain at a reasonable price.
The big box stores and other discounters do an admirable job for low cost, but their quality can only go so high, plus you are depending on the variables of going from one person who likes their job to another who may not know quite what they’re doing.
Discount internet based mail order printing shops do a fine job with decent quality and also can print your images on phone cases, pillow cases, photo puzzles, and dog sweaters. As photo gifts or promotional items, these items are fun to order.
Fine art printing studios offer outstanding quality, multiple paper printing options, a variety of specialty processes, and still somehow stay reasonably priced. I use Fine art printing studios locally and mail order.
Artbeat Studios
One of my favorite internet based mail order fine art printing studios is Artbeat Studios out of Irvine, California. They have been supplying fine art printing for the last several years or so and all they do is wall art. They don’t do phone cases, tee shirts, or even coffee table books, only wall art. The owners have been working in fine art printing for several decades between them.
Thus, they are able to concentrate on giving utra high quality on a variety of surfaces for prices I consider reasonable. Among their fine art printing options are printing on metal, printing on acrylic, gicleé canvas, and several different fine art paper printing options.

HD Metal Prints
Metallic paper HD acrylic prints are bonded front and back to acrylic by means of a special method which results in hard prints that have a unique depth to them when viewed.
First, your image is printed on high resolution archival Epson Metallic Photo paper using Epson archival inks. Then, the print is mounted to a piece of clear acrylic on the front and a black acrylic on the backside. Then, the edges are polished down to a smooth finish.
Wood or metal wall mounts finish it off and these prints are available from 8X10 inches to 48X96 inches.
Gicleé and Metallic Canvas Prints
Traditional gicleé canvas and the added shine of metallic canvas prints are available in sizes from 8X10 inches to 40X60 inches and can be sent rolled with no mounting or stretched on to either ¾ inch or 1 ½ inch wood that can be displayed as it since the image wraps around the edge or put inside another frame.
Paper Prints
Artbeat Studio also prints on a variety of papers in sizes from 8X10 inches to 40X60 inches.
Three types of paper are available for printing options. Fine art papers are 310 g weight Canson Rag Photographique papers for a lustrous look for any image. Metallic paper prints are made on Kodak® ENDURA papers. The budget photo paper option is still superior to prints from the discount stores and are near the same prices as those stores.
