A very selfless father in Hull, England has a great reason to be taking a victorious selfie today, he captured a pedophile who was accidentally released from prison.
The dad, Graham Lamb, was on a bus, scrolling through Facebook, trying to make his commute a little more bearable when he came across a wanted notice. The wanted man, Valerijs Gordijs, was a convicted pedophile who was accidentally released from prison.
Gordijs boarded the bus moments later. This when Lamb sprang into action, but not before checking the wanted notice one more time to be absolutely sure he was right.

"He got on, and I thought, 'It can't be,'" Lamb said.
"I kept looking at him and he kept looking at me. I brought up his picture on my phone and that was when I realized it was the same guy," Lamb continued.
Lamb quietly walked up to the bus driver and informed her she needed to stop the bus so Lamb could call the police. But, Gordijs realized what was happening and tried to escape from the bus.
That's when Lamb told Gordijs to, "stay there," before he flagged down a nearby police officer.
"I was ready to grab him and pin him down," Lamb said, "but I did not need to. He was only a small guy and would not have put up much of a fight."
"He deserves to be back in prison and I am glad that he is off the streets and is no longer a danger to anyone else or any other children," Lamb said.
The Ministry of Justice confirmed Gordijs was accidentally released from prison, instead of being escorted to an immigration appointment.
Despite the warrant the Ministry of Justice issued, warning members of the public to not approach Gordijs, Lamb felt it was his duty to apprehend the pedophile.
