Drones with Camera: Okay or not okay?

Hi guys, I’m thinking about getting my first drone and I got a small dilemma here. Is it more practical to buy a separate camera (GoPro is my top choice for this) and then a drone rather than a bundle of these two? I have been browsing through this article , it has some recommendations and tips. But I’d still like to hear a few experiences on using drones with built-in camera while on travel or simple outings. I’m more drawn to purchase the Parrot AR Drone for the reason that it can be connected to a handful of devices. Another thing is, I’m weighing my options from which site to buy a drone - Amazon or EBay? Doing a bit of research , too.

Many of the new drones have proprietary camera systems and for the most part, they are all pretty much the same IMO.  It's the drones that really are the separating pieces here.   What sort of budget are you working with?
