How easy or difficult is it to fly a drone for first time?

All you drone pilots out there, when you first picked up a drone, what sort of learning curve did you have before you felt comfortable using for photography?

How durable are the DJI drones in case you crash one?

Well, I can not speak for other drone pilots, but I just got my Mavic Air 2 the third week of Dec 2020 and have flown it 5 times was able to do boxes working on figure eights, so the learning curve is still there. I think it will be much better when I get a chance to fly more continuously. But I did find it easy to fly and was able to take some shots (new to photography as well), so my first shots and videos are a little jerky. Not to mention getting used to the camera features, but I am new to the whole photography thing; as I said, I'm not sure if that helps.

So after so many years of doing this or that and life itself getting in my way, I am now at the point where just slowing down and doing things I have put off I have concluded that its time to become creative and do what I want.
Thanks for giving me a place to get started. :-)
