Road to Nowhere

Yup, THAT'S EXACTLY what I mean about guys - they are so unable to pose. I love your MeetUp group. Ours here is not that diverse. The most they do is go for photo walks together or have a speaker on a topic. Hope you got snow and fog shots the other day. We had heavy fog yesterday morning that lasted til almost noon. I went for a walk through the woods and got some shots. I'm not super experienced with fog, but getting the hang of it. We have heavy thunderstorms on tap this evening. Maybe I can get out for some approaching storm photos. Hope you have a great weekend, r1ch!

What I have read, for wedding photography, tell them to hold their wife to be because that is normal. Then it looks less posed.

I live in Colorado Springs, I have to drive to Denver for these types of meetups.  35 to 50 miles away But there have been a few model shoots down here over the years. I think the one I posted meets every month.

Nope, it snowed for a little bit then the sun broke out into happy harsh dance.

Try doing some long exposures of the clouds and try to catch lightning. Try to have a good landscape foreground.

Looks like we had the same problem - underwhelming weather events. The storm here amounted to nothing. Even the rainbow was very faint. Thank you for the advice. I will definitely try long exposures for the clouds. I've done clouds, but never with a long exposure. I have family out in Colorado Springs and in Denver. Well, hope you get some opportunities the rest of the weekend and next week!
