How can you produce sharp images in low light conditions?

It's called "use a tripod". That is for static subjects. For moving subjects it's fast glass and high ISO. No magic, just common sense.

The OP said nothing about only ambient light images, just sharp images where the light levels are low. The tripod, would be better than editing in post, using "fast" glass or raising the ISO, but judicious use of speed lights would give the best results in terms of getting "sharp" images. I've always associated low light ,ambient light shots to be soft as it were as it would be for "moody" images as opposed to sharp images.... YMMV.....

Vague question gets vague, general answers. No one answer is correct. What if the subject distance is too far? Flash wouldn't work. What if the subject is moving quickly? Tripod may or may not work, flash would work depending on distance, but may need to fall back to fast glass and high ISO. May need post processing to balance all these out. Like I said, vague question gets vague answers.
