A wide angle lens is about the best way

Get a wide angle lens around 14mm or so, and wedge yourself or the camera in one of the corners facing the room and take the photo

You could always use a fisheye lens too

Although I would not recommend this. A super-wide and a full frame body should get you a shot of most rooms, without horrible distortion. Methinks a fisheye would be over the top.

Worst case? Use a tripod, take two shots of each half of the room and stitch them together in post. It's not that hard to do in LR.

I use my 10-20 zoom at 10mm, mount the camera on a tripod/monopod, hold the camera high in a corner and trigger with a remote release. The articulating LCD on my camera lest me shot in Live view and see what I am getting.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.
