Ttl please get it to stop!

I do real estate photography.  I have a canon 80d and use the flashpoint 600 monolight ttl model to flash my rooms and do window pulls.  Using ttl is great for auto metering for the room but I need it totally manual to do the window pulls.  Even when I set the flash to manual mode it wants to control the exposure (shutter speed) on the  camera..  but it does allow me to control the flash power manually.   I need to be able to control the shutter speed to only get the Exposure for the outside window view and over expose the interior.  I cant seem to find how to turn off ttl completely when I need it to be off.  Help!

If you set the mode and press "set", and it doesn't do what you need, contact Adorama. It's their brand. Or google for Godox, since it's a rebranded Godox monolight. They'll work the same.

It's a camera issue, not a flash issue. Set the camera to manual mode and put your desired settings in, then use flash exposure compensation or adjust power of flash to control brightness of the flash. When the camera recognizes the flash is attached, it will set the shutter speed to maintain sync speed. You need to switch camera to manual to override while also knowing that you can't set faster than sync speed of the camera. High speed sync is another choice and whole different can of worms.
