Hello,

I'd like to start on photography and I'm hesited to buy an old camera (600D) with 1000 shutter or new 4000D, the both has the same price and I think same functionalities,

ah no, the 4000D has wifi connectivity :)

What is your advice for this ? knowing that the 600D was bought new 600 euro.

Regards

1) Why does wireless matter? Think about it, hard.

2) The 4000D is a runt (read the reviews on Amazon) for the European (?) market. It doesn't get any more basic than that. The 600D is Rebel (a T7?) and the current Canon entry-level DSLR (in the US).

3) 1000 shutter actuations is nothing. That's a warmup. The shutter mechanism should be good for over 100,000. It's a 24MP sensor, and will serve you well for a very long time.

Easy call: get the 600D.

The 600D has an articulating screen, a larger LCD with better resolution, better continuous shooting rate, a microphone port, and flash coverage and sync port compared to the 4000D. The 4000D has Wi-fI, is lighter and has a better battery. Therefore, if Wi-Fi is super important to you on your camera, go for the 4000D. Otherwise, the 600D is better than the 4000D.
