How to clean corners of view finder on camera?

4 years 3 months ago #671490 by Liem Stailey
How in the world do you all keep the view finders clean?  Specifically the corners?  I've been using a microfiber cloth around my finger and I can't get into the sharp small corners.

Any tips would be appreciated.  Thank you for help.

I use Qtips, and they work like a charp

Charp?  LOL I think your "P" and "m" got mixed up.

OP - Amy's correct, Qtips work great for cleaning our tough to get to spots on your camera.

QTips are also abrasive. Be careful what you wipe with one

"Charm" or "Champ". Either works. But I kinda like "charp".

Huh?  You'll find Qtips in camera cleaning kits.

I didn't say they can't be used- just be careful where you wipe with them. Try wiping your sensor with one;)

I only use prepackaged items made specifically for cleaning a sensor.  For the viewfinder, yeah q-tips all the way.

I use cotton balls.  Cram them in there and twist.  Works well.

I can't use cotton balls, I don't like the feeling and it gives me chills up my back.  Q-tips or thick part of micro cloth will do the trick for me.
