Instant camera help

3 years 10 months ago #684305 by whatsername
I have a Minolta Instant Pro that I got recently with film I don't know much about this camera but from what I've read it runs off the battery inside the film packs. I load the film, it turns on with a red light and the screen lights up but the buttons seem to be unresponsive and than the screen goes blurry after a while, beeps frantically and it shuts off with just a red light. Has anyone used these types of cameras and can help me out?

Side note: I also have a Polaroid land camera 100 does anyone know if anyone still makes film for these or if there is a way I can use a different film?

Thanks so much!

I located a scanned copy of the manual, which doesn't seem to mention a battery.
This implies that you are correct about the battery being in the film pack.

If there's no power, the film pack battery is shot. Probably not much you can do about that.

The google will help you locate film for your camera.

I changed the film and now the buttons respond but once the green light comes on it flashes and makes a sort of clunk sound but I push the shutter and nothing happens. It seems like it should be straight forward.
