What do you say when you take a group shot?
cod wrote: I usually use a variation of "1,2,3..." but "sneak" in some pictures while I'm counting and during the second or two after the official shot. The best expressions usually come from the sneaks. Having the camera on a tripod helps.
One piece of advice that I read from a pro, can't remember who or where, and that I have tried successfully myself, is to have everyone in the group close their eyes really tight. Tell them you will count 1,2,3 and to open their eyes on 3. Do that, wait one more count - a silent 4 - then take the shot.
