Generally when converting, you want to pay attention to the highlight and shadow details. If you can keep information in them, the other tones fall into place.

It's not a hard and fast rule though. Sometimes a "blowout" (like an all white sky for example) works for the mage.

Agreed. The shots are very nice, the borders kind of junk it up.

I like the elephant one with the dust all over. :judge:
