I'm the same way. However, I have this problem, I hate driving in the snow. So either I wait until my husband comes home from work or I pray that we get a snowfall during the weekend. lol
This specific photo, my husband and I were already out heading to a state park (where the photo was taken). Good thing is, there was no snow on the roads.
Ever since I got into a car accident in the snow (it wasn't serious, but scared me shitless), I won't drive in the snow. Before that, I had no problem driving in the snow.
I like how black you have the water, looks like ink.

I'm not saying it's a bad photo though, just giving an opinion. Just saying every photo is great isn't gonna help people get better.
The photo is really well processed and is nice in many ways. But it doesn't yell out at me, more like talks in a normal voice saying. "Hey man check out this river, it's got a bridge."
tetchy tetchy ninja boy, no one shud say a photo is a good one just to boost an ego, I just believe that constructive critiscism is the way to go, I get what you said about the photo, just didnt agree, but thats what photography is about, if everyone thought the same way then photography would get boring, but i still say its a gud shot, that bridge leads you right into the photo and that water looks so inky black nice one crystal

I do agree that the bridge leads the eye in and I like the processing.

It's not as strong as her solo tree photo that's for sure, I LOVE the processing on this though.
