Pretty nice. I'm having a bit of trouble focusing on one thing though. There doesn't seem to be a main subject to this photo. :)

Well there isn't just one main subject. The bridge crossing over the creek is the subject. So bridge and creek, two subjects.

I like to get out first thing before anyone has the chance to put footsteps all over the place, trouble is now having broken my wrist in the last flurry, I hate the stuff now

I'm the same way. However, I have this problem, I hate driving in the snow. So either I wait until my husband comes home from work or I pray that we get a snowfall during the weekend. lol

This specific photo, my husband and I were already out heading to a state park (where the photo was taken). Good thing is, there was no snow on the roads. :)

Ever since I got into a car accident in the snow (it wasn't serious, but scared me shitless), I won't drive in the snow. Before that, I had no problem driving in the snow.

True.

I'm not saying it's a bad photo though, just giving an opinion. :) Just saying every photo is great isn't gonna help people get better. ;)

The photo is really well processed and is nice in many ways. But it doesn't yell out at me, more like talks in a normal voice saying. "Hey man check out this river, it's got a bridge."

Of course this is JMHO.

tetchy tetchy ninja boy, no one shud say a photo is a good one just to boost an ego, I just believe that constructive critiscism is the way to go, I get what you said about the photo, just didnt agree, but thats what photography is about, if everyone thought the same way then photography would get boring, but i still say its a gud shot, that bridge leads you right into the photo and that water looks so inky black nice one crystal

Yeh well it's subjective.

I do agree that the bridge leads the eye in and I like the processing.

But it's just a normal shot apart from that.

BTW I think my criticism was constructive. :)

It's not as strong as her solo tree photo that's for sure, I LOVE the processing on this though.

To me what sells black and white is really, REALLY deep blacks.
