well, i think its a nice picture technically. im sure it would make a great stock photo. But artistically the photo does absolutely nothing for me.

Yes on number 2. There is a lot more content.

#1 is a bit more simple and that is compelling but somehow it is too sterilized.

I guess I am the oddball here but I really like the second shot. The sterility, tones and the absence of life. The only thing that bugs me is the TV.

I think the issue with the first one, for me at least, is the lack of a focal point. Nice leading lines to ????
The second shot has that and more. :thumbsup:

I like the second version of the first image but it needs something in it. I prefer a square crop on the second image with the crop being at the top of the doors. I think it simplifies the image and draws your attention to the solitary person instead of drawing my attention up and out of the image on the original. YMMV.

I will try out the crop when I get home tonight. Thanks for the suggestion.
