Handheld. I think I must be allergic to tripods. The 7 shot pano I did titled "Looking Down The Valley" is even handheld. I do use a tripod occasionally but mostly for long exposure images. I know it's not a good habit but I'm just lazy I guess. I always have one with me, just rarely use it.

Too busy? Nope! A great example of how to “break the rules” and produce an outstanding capture! 

 I definitely agree, the tonal range is very nice.
