No, one doesn't have too. When people are in public, they are all fair game.
From my position I observe, on the look out for something interesting and,
discretely, when it is somehow available I trigger.

Looks good for black&white.

Even with a long lens (like this), I pan the shot so that the subject do not see me only aiming their way. 
It makes it less awkward for both. 
I bit difficult here with all the movement though. 


No one kicks up there feet next to the water cooler better than this person.  Top poster - LoungeLounge Guru
